A Blooming Dimension

A Blooming Dimension is a gardening world by Ovout Studios. I did everything except the builds: I modeled, textured and animated the plants, the characters, the furniture and the bicycle you ride around the world, and I handled the development.

There are 51 models of my own. Twenty-nine of plants and foliage — flowers, mushrooms, lily pads, vines, tree leaves —, fourteen of furniture and building pieces — benches, fences, street lamps, windows, roofs, the rocking chair —, the squirrel with its dialogue version, two butterflies, the bicycle and three interface pieces.

What you see here isn’t the models standing still: it’s the garden working. The bicycle is a rideable vehicle, with its model, its pedalling animation and its code. The squirrel turns its head and follows you as you come close. The butterflies appear among the flowers and flutter about. The rocking chair rocks once you sit on it.

The world came out on the Marketplace in 2023.
