Description

Obrica is a quoting app for carpentry. The carpenter describes the piece, the assistant asks only what actually changes the price, and it returns the breakdown of materials, supplies and hours, with a total ready to send to the client.

Before that, it meant modelling every piece in SketchUp and doing the sums by hand in a spreadsheet. On the screen just below, a three-door sliding wardrobe comes out broken down into MDF sheets with their offcuts, rail sets, drawer slides, screws, finish and shop hours, with the total underneath.

It runs on Next.js and Supabase, and the product, the code and the design are mine.

The two screens you see here carry sample data: none of the quotes or clients are real, and the assistant’s conversation was written for the screenshot.
